**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and province requirements.
- Maintain human resource databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
- Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements within the department.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree, with a focus on Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of HR management experience is required.
- 2+ years of office administration experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization (verbal and written).
- Must have excellent documentation and record keeping skills.
- Ability to provide leadership, accept responsibility, work independently and set own goals in a professional manner.
