Proposal Search Coordinator

KGS Group is looking for a **Proposal Search Coordinator** to join our head office in Winnipeg.

**The Role**:
The Proposal Search Coordinator will work with various staff, organized into search teams across offices, to search, identify, track and distribute opportunities from all relevant tender websites. You will be an integral part of the proposal search process by facilitating the identification and communication of new bid opportunities for KGS Group across various offices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively search and identify relevant bid opportunities (such as Merx, Biddingo, Bids & Tenders etc.) and circulate to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Maintain pursuit database to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and reports.
- Create criteria for tender searches based on market, services, regions, clients, etc.
- Keep abreast of competitive procurement opportunities from major clients and maintain client specific bid website access.
- Maintain all tender website information, logins, passwords, payments, etc.
- Completes government forms, client questionnaires and qualifying statements.
- Work closely with Department Heads (or designates) regarding potential bid opportunities.
- Facilitate activities of the Pursuit Search Team.
- Maintain and follow up on Pursuit Search Teams’ schedule, backups, etc.
- Monitor for addenda and other communications from tender websites and communicate as appropriate.
- Identify and implement initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal search process.
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

**About You**:
To fill the role, we’re looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights could include:

- Degree or diploma in engineering, business, marketing, logistics, or another related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Two or more years of related proposal work experience, with involvement in the search and generation of bids and leads as an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with tender websites such as Merx, Biddingo and Bids & Tenders is preferred.
- Prior experience in an engineering or construction field preferred, professional services experience is an asset.
- Be organized, proactive, technically savvy, and able to learn about our various services / departments / markets, etc.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees and senior management.
- Be a natural self starter with the ability to prioritize, self-schedule, and work with colleagues from various departments, market sectors, and locations.
