Wide Format Production Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: The person filling the role of ‘Production Manager” is responsible for ensuring high quality print and finishing output on all equipment, colour & profile management as well liaising between Sales and Pre-Press staff to ensure the result in production meets client expectations. This would include working on a variety of projects that will include, but not be limited to, office graphics and murals, glass privacy film, interior and exterior signage, Router cut logos and lettering, vehicle graphics and banners or fabrics. It would also be expected that this individual is willing to be cross trained in different areas of Production and step in to help when the volume dictates that need. A ‘Production Manager is expected to:
- * Communicate with CSR (Sales/Management Staff) regularly about ongoing projects.
- * Ensure proper steps are taken for colour management, consistency, and repeatability.
- * Manage our print profiling and upkeep the organization of our digital and print sample records.
- * Manage time wisely to meet deadlines and clearly communicate early when timelines appear to be an issue.
- * Communicate with all staff and management in a positive, upbuilding and constructive manner, especially when issues or stress may arise.
- * Keep consistent record of work within our ‘Jobber’ management software according to our internal systems that are ongoing.
- * Assist the team in collaborative discussion to better and simplify our process.
- * Communicate both success and failures in your work clearly.
- * Keep up to date with updates to design, RIP, printing programs & software to always utilize the technology at our disposal.
- Work daily to build the automation of Premier Graphics workflow to best utilize the technology and equipment on our shop floor.
- Take the lead in proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, assisting other Production Staff to have a part in this as well. Premier Graphics prides itself in being an upbuilding employer and works hard to always keep the happiness and satisfaction of our staff at an elevated level. As a ‘Production Manager”, Taylor Sellinger (General Manager) will regularly check in and assist in purchasing of new tooling or equipment to increase the ease at which our production department can produce a premium output.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- Graphic Production Management: 3 years (preferred)
- production management: 2 years (preferred)
