Production Manager

CRITICAL OUTOCMES FROM THE JOB **Department Management + Resourcing**: - Oversee the creative department to ensure we are delivering on the required elements to support our brand and company’s goals - Lead the resourcing and oversight of projects across a wide spectrum of mediums including social, video, photography, packaging, sales collateral, print etc - Develop a standardized process for working with freelancers, including a call sheet that outlines rates, availability details, and roles - Ensure all product and branding initiatives are aligned with our brand guidelines - Manage relationships and communications with the MLT and Brand teams to ensure that Design and Production Teams are creative work that are on strategy and on time - Develop and manage an effective process from requests to completion of projects including with cross functional team members including Supply Chain, Regulatory, Sales etc - Hire, train and retain an outstanding Creative Team delivering on great work as well as develop a stable of great external creative resources - Implement and oversee best in class use of project management technology including Asana, Proofhq, where applicable recommend top tier technology to drive efficiencies and cost savings - Manage creative budget and ensure that costs are captured accurately and updated by period - Assist with Regulatory audits and/or product recalls **Leadership Responsibilities**: - Accountable for departments overall actions, behaviours and contributions - Able to explain and defend rational for proposed solutions from a creative concept and design perspective - Strong interpersonal, consensus - building skills, with the ability to communicate and achieve results across multiple audiences in a complex organizational structure - Can think quickly, be decisive under pressure and motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results - Stays on top of current design and marketing trends, both in industry and the world at large QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE **Education** Post-secondary diploma; degree preferred - **Experience**: - Minimum 8 - 10 years of management experience in a design and or production capacity - Has experience with end to end management of a wide variety of creative mediums including social, design, campaign, print and packaging - Packaging and print production experience is required - Project Management experience with Asana, Trello, Excel, Proof Hq - Thorough understanding of overall business processes, systems thinking and the role of Marketing to an organization - Someone who can develop creative solutions to challenges and has the drive to source information and provide answers pertinent to the success of every project - Strong creative eye, ability to determine if creative deliverables ladder back to brand guidelines and overall brand and marketing strategies **Must Haves** - Ability to be ruthless about prioritization and defend your priorities across the Executive Leadership team - You have an unrelenting desire to be successful and chase down growth - You love to have fun, but take your responsibilities seriously - You have a high sense of urgency and act with speed and agility - You are comfortable being uncomfortable and thrive in adverse situations. **_Notification to Applicants: _**_We are committed to providing an accessible environment and ensuring fairness throughout our hiring process.
