**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), and under the direction of the Research Coordinator, the Research Assistant contributes to the research study by assisting with recruitment, administration of tests and interviews, data collection, study administration, providing administrative support and entering study data. The goal of our Interventional Psychiatry research is to explore the predictors of who will respond to different treatments for depression, and by extension, to understand the neurobiology of depression. This challenging position offers opportunities for training, and professional growth.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Completion of Grade 12 required
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science (Psychology) related field
- Completed post-secondary education (Bachelor's/Master's) in a Health Science and/or Science (Psychology) related field required
- Two years’ research related experience preferred
- TCPS2: CORE Certification considered an asset
- Experience working with adults
- Experience working with mental illness is an asset
- Knowledge of diagnostic criteria for mental and behavioural disorders is an asset
- Experience with cognitive testing and/or electroencephalography (EEG) is an asset
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- Experience with RedCap is an asset
- Effective communication, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to draft, format and edit office correspondence
- Well developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Previous experience in a health care/research setting is an asset
