Job Summary Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Research Project Manager, the Research Assistant will support the daily operations of the research project by carrying out routine study, participant, and administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth execution of research activities. The Research Assistant will follow established procedures to assist with participant communications, prepare and distribute study materials, enter and organize data, and maintain research documentation Key Responsibilities Support daily study operations by preparing participant kits, coordinating mail-outs, tracking returns, and assisting with screening, onboarding, and participant communications. Provide participant-facing support through email and phone, ensuring timely responses, clear guidance, and high-quality customer service. Maintain accurate study data by entering, updating, and cleaning datasets in REDCap and Excel; assist with basic analyses, tables, charts, and report preparation. Contribute to research activities including literature searches, document preparation, ethics submission materials, and transcription of qualitative interviews. Deliver general administrative and event support by organizing documents, managing supplies, assisting with meetings and study events, and completing basic video-editing and communication tasks. Note Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in degree in a science, health, or research‑related field with a minimum of three years’ of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience). Working knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS or R for health data analysis. Excellent written, verbal, and public-speaking communication skills. Advanced computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project. Assets Bilingualism in French and English.
