Nisku, Canada Union Tractor Ltd Full time

A key member of the Finance team providing support primarily full cycle payroll and benefits administration, including preparation of general ledger entries, account reconciliations and ad hoc information requests.
- Responsibilities_
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers, new hires and terminations
- Identifies and resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Pays employees by receiving, verifying and processing account transactions
- Manage all aspects of the group benefit and RRSP plans, including the processing of all changes, premium submissions, and liaising with suppliers.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- **3+ consecutive years full cycle (time gathering to T4 submission) payroll experience in a busy work environment**:

- Avanti payroll system knowledge is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Attention to detail and sound analytical skills
- Sound organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and possess a professional demeanour
- Punctuality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
