**Position Summary**
The _Warehouse Manager_ is responsible for the daily functioning of the Company warehouse and its staff with a **hands-on** approach. The _Warehouse Manager_ is responsible for a high level of inventory management and control, as well as timely receiving and delivery of customer orders according to deadlines. We are looking for a working Warehouse manager, who will act as a leader as well as operate alongside their team in the warehouse.
**Position Responsibilities**
**Warehouse Administration**
- Following up with warehouse staff on a daily and weekly basis to ensure all orders are picked and shipped correctly and on time to meet customer needs
- Overseeing the full shipping and receiving function including the accurate completion of all bill of ladings, quality checks on all incoming and outgoing goods; accurate tagging and data entry of product into inventory management system and timely stocking of all incoming product.
- Work alongside warehouse staff to assist with daily responsibilities in a team dynamic
- Delegate work orders to staff members, ensuring completion of work orders on a daily basis
- Ensure warehouse is laid out efficiently and strategically in order to maintain product in best possible manner; ensuring staff maintains a clean and organized working environment
- Ensure adequate staffing levels based on business demand, and rescheduling employees to meet staffing needs
- Report on staff attendance and punctuality
- Monitor staff productivity in order picking, receiving and shipping
- Ensure the security of the warehouse and ensuring physical conditions of the warehouse are adequate
**Inventory Control**
- Preparing all inventory documentation including type, quantity and quality for a clear understanding of the state of stock on hand
- Ensuring received inventory match quality level standards and meet order specifications as detailed by purchase orders
- Reporting and analyzing current warehouse inventory data and inventory control reports; presenting results to senior management when necessary
- Maintaining daily invoices and shipment records to ascertain the state of all inventory
- Ensuring proper management of aging and excess stocks using inventory management best practices
- Documenting the delivery of all product and supervising their movement into operational processing
- Recommending operational policies and goals to senior management; responding to all inquiries concerning warehouse product and inventory
- Implementing and maintaining Company warehouse management system
- Designing and implementing warehouse inventory processes involving cycle counts, demand, trends, approval of RMA’s and inventory reconciliation
- Providing oversight of the constant flow of product in and out of the Company’s warehouse facility
**Staff Supervision and Mentorship**
- Providing growth and development opportunities to staff, giving constructive feedback on a regular basis
- Cross-training employees on all warehouse functions and implement job-rotation program to maintain job knowledge of all functions.
- Identify and develop top performers into progressive job opportunities
**Health and Safety**
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures through appropriate documentation, training, communication, and discipline
- Exercising progressive discipline for employees in violation of health and safety policies, administering verbal and/or written warnings and sending employees home when required
- Ensuring all equipment meets safety requirements by conducting regular inspections, and ordering work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement when needed
- Continuously walking the warehouse to observe potential risks, hazards, and safety violations
- Ensuring all hazardous materials are properly stored and secure
**Required Behavior, Skills, and Knowledge**

- Forklift license required
- 3+ years in a warehouse environment, preferably within the tile industry
- 2+ years in a managerial level role
- Comfortable lifting between 50 and 70 lbs
- Able to maneuver larger pieces of material with ease
