**Key Responsibilities**
**Leadership and Staff Management**:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant staff, including servers and kitchen staff
- Set the standard for professionalism, teamwork, and service by consistently leading by example
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to staff to enhance productivity and guest service.
- Create work schedules to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
**Customer Service Excellence**:
- Ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Implement service protocols and oversee guest interactions to ensure a memorable dining experience
**Operations and Inventory**:
- Oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow between front and back of house.
- Maintain inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Order and manage inventory while staying within budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Financial and Budget Management**:
- Assist in setting financial goals and ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds budgeted targets for revenue and profitability.
- Track expenses, manage labour costs, and control waste to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Review financial reports and analyze performance, making adjustments as needed to achieve profitability.
**Marketing and Community Engagement**:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and events to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community to increase brand visibility.
**Health and Safety Compliance**:
- Ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Monitor employee compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure restaurant cleanliness, including kitchen and dining areas.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory, budgeting, and staff management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- **Certifications**: Food safety certification and Serve it right is essential.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
