Skye Avenue Kitchen and Lounge is a premier fine dining destination in Surrey, renowned for its exceptional cuisine, elegant ambiance, and the largest whisky collection in Western Canada. We are seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to lead our team and create unforgettable guest experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless and high-quality service.
- Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house staff to uphold fine dining standards.
- Manage reservations, guest relations, and VIP experiences with precision and care.
- Collaborate with the culinary and bar teams to deliver an outstanding food and beverage experience.
- Showcase and promote our extensive whisky collection, enhancing guest appreciation.
- Monitor budgets, inventory, and cost controls to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and excellence.
- 3-5 years of fine dining management experience in a high-end restaurant or lounge.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in guest relations, fine dining service, and luxury hospitality.
- Knowledge of premium whisky, wine pairings, and craft cocktails is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with POS systems, reservations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Supervise front-of-house staff to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in compliance with local laws.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in a food service or restaurant management role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and customer service principles.
- Familiarity with POS systems and their operational use in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and customers alike.
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees is preferred.
- A background in cooking or kitchen management is a plus but not required.

Pay: $47,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
