Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Curator/Supervisor, Lambton Heritage Museum, the Facilities Support Student will assist the Museum Preparator/Facility Operations with construction tasks including repairing and painting walls and basic carpentry projects. The student will also perform outdoor maintenance tasks including gardening and upkeep on the museum grounds.

**Responsibilities**:
**Building Maintenance**:
1. Repairing and painting walls
2. Helping to build tables and mounts for work areas
3. Dusting exhibit galleries and cleaning light fixtures

**Outdoor Maintenance**:
1. Weeding and pruning gardens on museum grounds
2. Raking gravel and leaves
3. Keeping walking trails clear of debris
4. Sweeping and tidying historic buildings on museum grounds

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Formal Education
- Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Familiarity with power tools and the ability to drive a tractor is an asset
