**Production Maintenance and Support**

We are a family operated, fast growing company. We manufacture a variety of fiberglass parts. Position is permanent, full-time hours are 6:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday, Friday 6:00am - 10:00am.

We are seeking an individual who is responsible for all mechanical troubleshooting, rebuilding, and maintaining of facility spray equipment to ensure our production processes continue efficiently without malfunctioning as well as to perform general maintenance and production support as required.

**Reports to**: Dave Cyr, President; Adam Cyr, Production Manager

**Responsibilities and Abilities**
- Carry out routine servicing of equipment as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions, which could thwart production activities
- Rebuilding and maintaining spray equipment including guns and pumps.
- Troubleshoot equipment to determine specific malfunctioning issues and tackle them accordingly.
- Following proper shutdown procedures when cycle is complete.
- Keeping inventory on spare parts.
- Building wooden carts and maintain clean wheels.
- Strictly abiding by safety regulations during manufacturing activities, keeping equipment in check to avoid mechanical hazards that could cause harm to operators and workers.
- Keep record of maintenance activities to track the lifespan of equipment. When equipment breakdown continues too frequently after repeated fixing, it will need to be replaced.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance process an asset
- Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
- Possess the discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
- Good time management to work at a good pace, executing crucial requirements
- Ability to handle basic tools
- Knowledge of safety precaution
- Woodworking experience is an asset
- Good human relations to relate cordially with team members and workers
- Self motivated, dependable, willing to take instruction, can work independently or as a team member
- Willing to train

**Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Work environment is dirty and noisy at times; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Will require steel-toed work boots, we supply all other Personal Protective Equipment when required.
