**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate our solutions in the marketplace
- Create compelling product marketing materials including datasheets, sales presentations, website content, and other collateral that communicates product value
- Support product launches by coordinating go-to-market activities and creating launch assets
- Collaborate with product management to understand product features and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends and competitive positioning
- Develop buyer personas and customer journey maps to inform marketing and sales strategies
- Work with sales teams to create effective sales enablement tools such as battle cards, objection handling guides, powerpoint presentations and demo scripts
- Gather customer feedback to inform product messaging and future development
- Analyze customer & competitive research to inform product positioning and potential product gaps
- Assist in planning and executing webinars and other activities to showcase our products
- Monitor product performance metrics and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our positioning remains relevant
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in product marketing or marketing, preferably in B2B technology or the software industry
- Strong understanding of technology products and ability to translate technical concepts into compelling benefits
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging
- Experience with creating marketing collateral and sales enablement materials
- Basic understanding of product management processes and go-to-market strategies
- Familiarity with customer research methods and competitive analysis techniques
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, and technical staff
**Nice to have**:
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/marketing automation platforms
- Knowledge of the video surveillance industry or physical security solutions
- Experience with customer interviews or focus groups
