**Hospitality Coordinator**

Reports to: General Manager, OBCI o/a Couchiching Craft Brewing Co.
- The Hospitality Coordinator works with the Taproom Supervisor, Head Chef and General Manager as _part of the Hospitality Team to organize and deliver the highest quality products and services in all _Hospitality-related revenue streams, train and supervise FOH position staff, manage and expand onsite _Event Sales (Private & Corporate), while ensuring the cost-effective operation of the Brewery’s _Hospitality Programming and identifying opportunities for growth._
- As part of a manufacturing, hospitality and retail model, the Hospitality Coordinator must show _leadership in developing the Brewery’s food and beverage services in a safe, innovative, and sustainable _environment. This role must respond with flexibility and adaptability to all challenges, from equipment _and service issues to consumer feedback and industry trends._

Core duties and responsibilities of the Hospitality Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

- develop effective communication and coordination between the Brewery’s Hospitality Program and related departments
- develop and lead the sales, management, and execution of Onsite Events
- target efficiencies and assist in establishing processes to encourage revenue growth
- provide regular critical/analytical Hospitality Program reporting to General Manager
- assist in the hiring of the Brewery’s onsite Hospitality Team members
- lead the development of employee orientation/training programs and identify potential training requirements for current FOH employees and new hires
- ensure FOH employees follow Brewing Co policy, adhere to health and safety regulations, comply with federal and provincial laws, regulations, and guidelines (AGCO, Smart Serve

- oversee and provide bi-weekly scheduling of Hospitality Team to General Manager and manage service performance
- address FOH employee conflicts, providing guidance on dispute resolution
- daily operational knowledge and management of all POS systems and reporting, perform proper cash management, report any accounting discrepancies, handling cash
- oversee quality control for FOH and service-related product(s)
- lead the resolution of customer complaints and feedback promptly and according to company guidelines and policies
- ensure the safe operations of the establishment/work environment - bars, retail space, washrooms, second floor, staff area - and oversee Taproom maintenance
- co-ordinate tracking of goods delivery/receipt, coordinating FOH storage/stocking
- work a flex schedule, including floor, bar, host and/or retail service as required. This position includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
- actively support Taproom operations and staff during service and onsite events

**Experience**:

- Bartending, FOH service experience, required: 3-5+ years
- Supervision/Management experience: 3-5 years
- Microsoft Office experience, required
- Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s License and clean driving record, required
- Valid Smart Serve Certification, required
- WHMIS, First Aid/CPR Certification an asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00

Schedule:

- 8-12 hour shifts
- Wednesday to Sunday - evenings, weekends, and special events
