**Human Resources Manager**

Our food manufacturing client in Mississauga is seeking an experience Human Resources Manager to join their growing team. If you have proven proficiency in managing key HR functions (recruitment, performance management, employee relationships, and leadership), we’d love to speak to you about this exciting opportunity.

**Responsibilities**
- Management of recruitment including ad placement, tracking, interviews and screening
- Recruitment of skilled employees from various sources
- Management of staffing programs, internal and agency-related, including onboarding, scheduling, orientation, and terminations
- Provide support to the Health and Safety committee
- Monitor employee engagement levels and initiatives, cultivating a positive work environment
- Manage disciplinary infractions including investigation of policy violations
- Develop and implement effective performance appraisal strategies
- Determine relevant KPI’s and review with senior management
- Manage career development opportunities with senior management
- Develop and maintain updated HR policy and procedure
- Ensure personnel records meet regulation requirements
- Manage monthly reporting responsibilities as required

**Requirements**:

- 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources is required
- 2 years in a managerial role is required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills, written and spoken
- Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin is preferred
- Highly organized, proactive, and positive
- Strong appreciation of discretion, confidentiality and privacy
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other ERP
