**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
We are seeking an energetic and collaborative Human Resources Manager - Generalist, who is passionate about providing full-cycle Human Resources support to various areas of the business and the organization as a whole. The ideal individual is a solution oriented, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, providing consultation and guidance in all areas of human resources management issues and solutions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, the Human Resources Manager primary focus will be a combination of strategic support to the organization on key Human Resources processes and priorities, as well as hands on HR tasks in multiple areas with a focus on Administration, HRIS, and Employee Relations.

Key Accountabilities:

- As an HR Manager you will be responsible for key areas including employee engagement, HR processes management, employee relations
- Contribute to and execute on the HR Strategy through the creation and implementation of programs that attract, develop and retain employees.
- Organizational Design & Development (OD&D): Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities.
- Performance & Talent Management: Ensure Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration and talent development. Implement succession planning and talent management plans that support business goals.
- Accountable for successful delivery of recruitment and selection strategies for all employees (salaried and hourly).
- Management of Employee medical related issues (claims, disability management and legal compliance, STD/LTD/WSIB, manage modified work and accomodation process)
- Advise management and employees on interpretation of employment practices and administration of HR policies and programs
- Effectively communicate and rollout HR policies, training, compliance, processes and procedures to the entire workforce
- Act as a point of contact and advisor to business leaders and employees, providing effective counsel, feedback and coaching on a broad range of issues
- Preparation of HR reports related to but not limited to: staffing, turnover, and provide action items to address gaps and issues
- Preparation of various types of letters i.e.: offer letters, transfers, promotions, terminations, temporary assignments, contract extensions etc.
- Oversee benefits management for all employees by working with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and manage the organization’s benefits/rewards programs
- Ownership and management of all HRIS transactions and processes in the Human Resources Information System
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, as required
- Participate as an active member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JH&SC), including Covid-19 Regulations

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Collaborative, solution oriented, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- Experience with Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment/Resourcing, Performance Management.
- Experience in coaching and developing people.
- Experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of employment standards, government regulations, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and health and safety
- Demonstrated experience using an HRIS system to maintain employee information
- Advanced Microsoft office skills
- A high degree of professionalism and independence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner and influence others
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Experience working with various levels of an organization, by providing support, constructive advising, coaching and training
- Post-secondary education, specialization in Human Resources is an asset
- CHRP and/or CHRL designation is an asset
