Building Operator and Maintenance

**RESPONSIBILITIES** - Makes sure to respect the policies and procedures in effect in the organization and always put the quality of the care offered, the safety and the well-being of the residents first in all the tasks carries, the actions taken and the documents written - Performs daily hygiene and safety rounds - Follows up on the maintenance of the various vehicles at the center - Follows up on the inspections and periodic maintenance of specialized equipment such as fire extinguishers, sprinklers, etc. - Establishes relationships with local entrepreneurs - Performs maintenance and repairs of the buildings by performing work related to electricity, plumbing, carpentry and others - Performs preventive maintenance of the buildings, furniture and equipment, and keeps the registry up to date - Ensures the execution of the work according to the safety regulations and accident prevention and ensures proper maintenance of the fire prevention standards (emergency exits, emergency lighting, etc.) - Orders the equipment required to perform the tasks - Ensures the maintenance of tools and machinery and keeps their inventory - Regulates heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems - Follows up with vendors according to the projects at hand - Sees to the planning and distribution of work according to the services offered - May be required to "stand guard" outside normal working hours - Performs any other related tasks to the demand of their immediate superior **PROFILE REQUIRED** - Have a high school diploma - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position - Have experience in carpentry, plumbing and electricity (asset) - Be in excellent physical condition - Possess good manual dexterity - Initiative - Have a valid driver's license - Have completed WHMIS training (asset) - Hold an ASP certification (asset) **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** - **Job Type**: Temporary, full-time for a minimum of 5 weeks - **Schedule**: Monday to Friday - **Salary**: to be discussed according to experience - **Other benefits**:free on-site parking - **The use of the masculine gender is for the sole purpose of lightening the text.**_ - **Please note that only selected applicants will be contacted**_ Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Work Location: One location
