We are recruiting for a Coordinator, Human Resources, reporting to the Team Lead, Human Resources. This role is responsible for providing support to members of the HR Team and employees while touching upon many different areas within HR. This role embodies service excellence and handles data entry, employee onboarding, payroll, benefits, HR programs and policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks related to HR programs and policies.
- Answers employee queries about HR programs, policies, payroll and benefits.
- Maintains personnel files and handles the data entry, integrity and accuracy of the HRIS (SuccessFactors).
- Administers benefit programs, ensures accurate enrollments and changes for employees.
- Administers aspects of payroll processing, reconciliations and reporting.
- Coordinates and monitors all staffing transactions.
- Aids with recruitment related activities such as writing job postings, creating requisitions, tracking approvals, and preparation of offers of employment.
- Identifies, proposes and implements innovative solutions to drive efficiencies and accuracy of HR systems and transactions.
- Provide general support to the HR team including administrative tasks, report creation and assistance with the general HR functions.
- Ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Minimum post-secondary diploma in Human Resources or post-secondary degree in a related field; CPHR is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years human resources experience.
- Experience with running and administering benefit programs.
- Experience and knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and processes.
- Experience with HRIS systems, SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Knowledge of provincial employment standards in Alberta and British Columbia.
- Strong ethics, integrity and professionalism especially when dealing with sensitive information and situations.
- Highly organized with ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent PC skills required: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
