- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances including use of personal protective equipment and WHMIS
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the manager and team in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
- Supervise and coordinate employees engaged in painting activities

Experience, Qualifications & Education
- Completion of college/vocational or technical training in coatings industry
- Management and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a manufacturing painting situation relating to truck body and/or other equipment required
- Must be able to work with mínimal direction and/or verbal instructions
- Previous experience in metal preparation techniques is required
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience as a manufacturing spray painter required
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Must hold a valid WHMIS Certification
- Possess a clean, valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and perform high quality workmanship in a safe manner
- Able to effectively communicate with others in a courteous manner, and take direction from the supervisor
- Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 25 pounds
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
