Wage: $18 - $22 per hour (dependent on experience) plus 4% of pooled tips to be allocated among all kitchen staff, based on hours worked

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Open and prepare kitchen for service, including food, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare and cook individual dishes, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Serve as line cook during service.
- Clean kitchen and work area at end of service.
- Oversee other kitchen operations by ensuring that food safety procedures are being followed.
- Train and assist new kitchen staff members.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- Completion of high school is required.
- At least 6 months of experience as a cook in a commercial establishment is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints.
- Willingness to learn and to work in a team environment.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Respectful style of communication.
