As **Safety & Office Admin**, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include supporting and coordinating the site's health and safety program, compliance, and objectives. As well as working with office and administrative service functions
**Your day-to-day activities will include**:
- Provide administrative support to the local management team and employees;
- Provide leadership and compliance in site safety processes and objectives;
- Assist in site level safety program implementation and organization
- Be in contact and available to all site employees
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting;
- Ensure accurate, timely and secure documentation and filing per auditing standards;
- Assist with Human Resource administration;
- Administer and maintain user and security access;
- Coordinate staff safety training and manage site PPE needs
- Procurement and management of facilities supplies and employee uniforms
- Post secondary education in administration and/or Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience;
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant administrative experience supporting health & safety activities, and/or general office administration, or human resources environment;
- Must have organizational, multi tasking, and time management skills;
- Must be visible on an industrial setting, able to conduct Mill audits and daily communication with front line employees;
- Ability to lead and positively influence peers;
- Working knowledge of Federal H&S Legislation - CLC II and COHSR;
- Proficient computer and systems skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
