**Job brief**

We are looking for competitive Door to Door Sales Reps to introduce new services for Ottawa, to develop and attract new customers. You will have the responsibility of working for yourself while growing market share, acquiring new customers, and maintaining current relationships in a customer facing environment. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. You will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.

You will chat face to face with potential customers, showing them the products and services and identifying for them their NEED. You should be focused on solving those problems and satisfying the needs for their clients. T

**Responsibilities**
- “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
- Develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Generate or follow through sales leads
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

**To Succeed, You Will Have**
- A strong desire to win, achieve goals and to be paid commissions based on results
- An entrepreneurial background, even having operated a business while attending school, and will act as an independent contractor
- An ability to build new business in a predominately customer facing environment
- Cold calling and new business generation skills

**Requirements and skills**:

- Proven sales experience
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Computer use competency
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and driven
- Your own transport and an ability to travel throughout Southern Ontario
