North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewan’s leading home builder, is seeking a Service & Warranty Technician to join our Saskatoon team. Reporting to the Service & Warranty Manager the purpose of the Service & Warranty Technician position is to resolve construction issues to satisfy the customer while not overextending North Ridge’s responsibilities. This position is responsible for conducting customer service calls and documenting and fixing issues in a professional manner.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct service calls and recognize warranty responsibilities. Complete service checklists at 30, 180 day and 1 year and fix any items that need attention. Explain to customer why these items need to be checked. Where possible, resolve warranty issues on the spot, otherwise prepare Service Request, provide to Warranty Manager for review and assign trades for follow up.
- Manage client expectations by explaining what is covered by warranty.
- Provide service work to show homes and completed spec homes.
- Operate a company vehicle and stock with required inventory.
- Complete Vehicle Maintenance Report on a monthly basis. Ensure regular oil changes are performed and complete service requests as needed.
- Resolve problems/issues in an effective and timely manner, always keeping the customer in mind.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education, Experience and Skills Required**:

- 5 years of experience in performing all finishing aspects of residential construction.
- Good understanding of home mechanics including appliances, plumbing, heating, HVAC, flooring, structural elements, house wrap and vapour barrier.
- Valid driver’s license, insurable by North Ridge.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient time management and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused and customer-driven.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions from hot to cold.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
