**Cemetery Administrative Assistant Job description**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in a professional and compassionate administration environment. This unique role allows you to provide meaningful support to staff and the families we serve.

We’re a local Ottawa family-owned and operated full-service cemetery and funeral home. Proudly serving our local and surrounding communities, we pride ourselves in providing quality and personalized services, coupled with caring and experienced professionals who look after families in need throughout our community. Pinecrest Remembrance Services continues its 100-year-old tradition of serving families by expanding further in Ottawa’s west end by opening a new funeral home location, celebration center, and cemetery office at our ever-expanding Highland Park Cemetery, in Carp.

**Education & Experience**
- Completion of Secondary school graduation diploma (Grade 12)
- Previous customer service experience
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in data entry, record keeping and scheduling
- Proven ability to multitask
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software’s
- A diploma or a degree in Administration would be considered an asset

**Language**
- English: Proficiency in Writing and Communication
- French: Proficiency in Writing and Communication would be considered an asset

**Job Details**
- Start Date: Monday, December 16th, 2024
- Contract Term: 14 months ending February 16th, 2026
- Hours: 8-hour workdays (8:00AM - 4:30PM)
- Annual Salary: $45,000.00 - 50,000.00 (depending on experience)
- Work Location: 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON K2C 3H9
- Work Model: On-site
- Probationary Period: 3-month

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
