Chi Junky® is expanding its leadership team seeking a driven, inspiring and high energy studio manager to develop and uphold an exceptional customer experience and manage our front desk staff. This dynamic position requires a high level of professionalism and exceptional customer service skills.

**About Chi Junky**

Chi Junky® is Toronto’s premier boutique yoga studio located in the east end of Toronto in Leslieville. Our 4,000 square foot studio is a newly renovated space which prides itself on stunning design and attention to detail. It includes two practice studios, two treatment rooms, client lounge, retail, on-site management office and Chi At Home, our virtual interactive livestream classes. Our mission is to provide a safe space to heal physically and emotionally through movement and music. Chi Junky is a unique yoga haven known for curating an exceptional movement experience with signature classes from Sweat Flow to Zen Vibes Only and everything in between. Each class offers premium full service amenities with killer playlists and top instruction. Our studio is rooted in building a supportive community and giving back through various charities, making yoga accessible and welcoming all to step into their Chi.

**Role Expectations**:
Reporting to the owner, the Studio Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of Chi Junky are seamless, while being a leader to our team. They are a customer service champion and will be the point-of-contact for front desk and our clients.

**Responsibilities**

Energy Exchange
- Manage the Energy Exchange program at Chi Junky - including recruitment, training and onboarding, development and maintenance of support materials, writing and sending out monthly EE newsletter
- Organize EE events and socials with the support of management
- Ownership of the EE schedule, ensuring all shifts are covered and provide backup support for any employee who is absent or shifts that are not covered
- Work with management to continuously improve EE experience and optimize program
- Lead any program roll-outs or studio operational updates
- Lead by example and maintain consistent coaching for staff members to provide exceptional customer service

**Studio Operations**
- Ensure front desk operates impeccably; assisting with managing front desk & check-in
- Mindbody management - subs/classes/accounts
- Opening studio and setting up for class as required (based on proposed schedule)
- Service and retail sales including inventory, product sourcing, and shipment
- Managing housekeeping to ensure studio appears clean with exceptional attention to detail; manage and rectify all maintenance related issues
- Studio supply management (e.g., for bathrooms, kitchen, studio, etc.)
- Support studio events and programs
- Actively working with the management team to create and maintain an energetic, positive, and inspiring work environment
- Willingness to share opportunities for improvements with management

**Client Services**
- Effectively communicate the studio’s mission, class programming, and membership options to prospective members
- Build relationships with members and assist with their membership needs and billing process
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Train other EE/FOH on customer service

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years management experience, with a preference for experience in boutique wellness or luxury fitness.
- 2-3 years experience in customer service sales
- Undergraduate Degree is preferred
- MindBody Online system experience

**Job Type**: Part-time, must have evening and weekend availability
- $20 / hour starting
