H2O Float Studio is a well established, unique company, located in the **Distillery District, downtown Toronto.** We believe in providing a positive and healthy work environment for our team, in order to provide our clients the best possible experience, while having fun at the same time. The Front Desk Attendants are responsible for providing customers with a relaxing, stress-free Studio experience from beginning to end. Depending on the number of customer appointments daily, the position might be required to perform other kind of duties. These can include organizing inventory, paperwork, running errands, etc.

**Shifts include days and evenings. Saturday and Sunday availability is required. 10-29hrs/week, possibly more and potential for full time. Shift start as early as 8 am and can finish as late as 11 pm.**
- **A typical shift will have two staff working, one at the front greeting customers, verifying appointments, going over forms, taking bookings, etc., while the other staff are prepping the rooms between clients, this included cleaning and disinfecting, as well as laundry, keeping the washroom clean/disinfected, etc. All staff trade back and forth between the two positions.** *

**Job responsibilities**:

- Have a strong understanding of Floatation therapy, as well as our other services, including float room procedures and the benefits of floating, being able to speak knowledgeable with clients and other staff
- Scheduling client services while implementing proper procedures
- Greeting clients and providing guidance while the client is at the studio
- Educating clients on services
- Daily water maintenance testing, tracking & resolving any issues. Ensuring the logging of each test is done. Alerting general manager and/or owners to any significant issues.
- Closing sales and encourage clients to pre-book services
- Executing standard telephone procedure using appropriate customer service etiquette
- Confirming appointments
- Resolving client challenges, utilizing support from the General Manager when necessary
- Responsibility for balancing and checking register drawer
- Handle equipment and tools under guidelines of Studio instructions
- Maintain Studio premises neat, clean and a good working environment
- Ensure float rooms, massage room and washroom are cleaned and fully equipped with supplies (robes, tissue, ear plugs, etc.) at all times.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with Studio staff and clients
- Ensure client's safety, comfort and well-being
- From time to time this description may involve other duties as required by the general manager and/or owners, at the discretion of the owners
