**Jaguar Land Rover London**is seeking individuals interested in the role of **Used Car Buyer**. The Used Car Buyer, under the direction of the General Manager and General Sales Manager, will primarily be responsible for working closely with the team to grow and scale our inventory.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in used car purchasing, automotive appraisals, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive market, including vehicle pricing, reconditioning costs, and industry trends.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in software tools such as vAuto, TradeRev, and auction platforms.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to travel.

**Job Requirements**:
**Vehicle Procurement**:

- Source high-quality pre-owned vehicles through auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and other channels.
- Evaluate vehicles' condition, history, and marketability to determine appropriate purchase price.

**Market Analysis**:

- Monitor industry trends, market values, and customer demand to ensure inventory aligns with dealership goals.
- Identify profitable opportunities to acquire vehicles in high demand.

**Appraisals and Trade-Ins**:

- Conduct thorough vehicle appraisals for trade-ins and provide accurate valuations to customers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to facilitate seamless trade-in processes.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain an optimal stock level of pre-owned vehicles to meet sales objectives.
- Ensure all purchased vehicles meet the dealership's quality and reconditioning standards.

**Relationship Building**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, auction houses, and private sellers.
- Act as a key point of contact for external and internal partners regarding pre-owned vehicle acquisitions.

**Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all vehicle transactions comply with dealership policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle purchases and valuations for auditing and reporting purposes.
