This is a full-time onsite role as an Office Manager at QM&E Engineering Inc. located in Ottawa, ON. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Office Management:
a. Overseeing and managing daily office operations

b. Sitting at reception and greeting visitors

c. Answering phones and prioritizing calls

d. Maintaining office supplies

e. Coordinating administrative activities

f. Providing support to staff members

g. Managing schedules

h. Setting up meetings

i. Maintaining a clean and organized office environment

2. Communications

a. Controlling and preparing correspondence in Microsoft Word and Excel

b. Drafting project related responses on company letterhead prepared by the technical team and filing the correspondences in the company’s electronic filing system

c. Tracking communication such as the dates when questions were received, and when responses were issued

d. Ensuring efficient communication within the team

3. Finances (asset qualification):
a. Accounts receivable

b. Inputting payments received in project management software

c. Bookkeeping entries in Quickbooks

**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanour

High level of integrity and confidentiality

English and French essential

Asset Qualifications

Experience with Quickbooks

Bookkeeping and finance experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
