**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping**:

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee complex client invoicing, including custom billing structures, time tracking, and reconciliation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Generate detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Work with our accountant during tax preparation.

**Client-Focused Invoicing**:

- Manage tailored invoicing processes for individual clients.
- Ensure accurate tracking and billing for time and services based on client contracts.
- Resolve client billing inquiries or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of client accounts to ensure transparency and accuracy.

**Payroll Management**:

- Process employee payroll and contractor payments accurately and on schedule.
- Manage payroll deductions, tax filings, and compliance with labour laws.
- Maintain detailed and confidential payroll records.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee or contractor inquiries promptly.

**Office Administration**:

- Oversee daily office operations to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
- Manage vendor relationships and office supplies.
- Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence, scheduling, and file organization.
- Provide general support to the team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping in a client-based environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage complex invoicing processes accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
