**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper. This unique position requires a blend of production management expertise and financial acumen to oversee the operational and financial aspects of our autobody repair shop.
**Primary Objectives of the Role**
- Perform bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Handle payroll processing and related tasks such as calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Provide support during audits and ensure all financial records are readily available and accurate.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Monitor inventory control regularly.
- Liaison with insurance companies and deal with customers for payments.
- Support other team members in day to day tasks.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial management, including experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives.
