**Overview**

We are opening a modern Family Practice and Walk-In Clinic in Niagara Falls in January 2026

and are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our

growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping patient care and clinic

operations from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for patients
- Greet, register, and prepare patients for appointments and procedures
- Enter and maintain accurate patient records using Accuro EMR
- Verify OHIP coverage and manage third-party billing
- Collect payments for non-OHIP services
- Room patients and record vital signs (height, weight, BP, HR, temperature, O₂

saturation, blood glucose)
- Perform urine testing and dipstick analysis
- Perform venepuncture (blood draws) and prepare specimens for lab pickup
- Set up, clean, and disinfect exam rooms
- Manage appointments, walk-ins, recalls, and follow-up scheduling
- Assist physicians with administrative and clinical tasks
- Maintain inventory and order medical and office supplies
- Ensure patient confidentiality and clinic organization at all times
- Support clinic operations as needed in a fast-paced environment



**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ experience as a Medical Office Assistant (preferred)
- Completion of a Medical Office Administration/Assistant program (asset)
- Strong understanding and use of medical terminology
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED
- Phlebotomy/venepuncture experience and certification (required)
- Proficiency with Accuro EMR (strong asset)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent patient care



Start Date: January 2026 (with potential onboarding/training)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
