David Brown Santasalo Canada Inc. is looking for a **Sales Manager Ontario **for our Cambridge location.

**What will be your role**:
Assume the responsibility to promote manufacturing parts, repairs, and other services from DBS.

The Sales Manager Ontario provides the customer service to clients onsite and follow up within his covered territory.

**What will be your responsibilities**:

- Continually research the market and target the top 10 customers within your region.
- Identify cross-selling opportunity in the overall solution offering (New parts, repairs and field service)
- Build a business plan to secure their business and execute the plan.
- Generate new sales leads and convert to profitable orders.
- Grow the business within your region as per targets set by the company budget.
- Deliver individual sales budget on:

- Enquiries and visits
- Bids
- Bookings
- Product margins
- Identify and develop new routes to market and gaps in product offerings.
- Visit new potential customers and generate enquiries.
- Establish good relationships at all levels within customer companies to ensure DBS receive all invitations to bid where we have a product offering.
- Manage customer opportunities from initial contact though bid management (including proposal creation) and finally negotiation leading to contract award.
- Act as the customer’s representative within the company.
- Follow up on orders so that customers receive them on time and solve encountered problems.
- Resolve any customer issues by working with the Internal Management Team and ensure long term improvements are put in place
- Report sales activity and results to management on a weekly basis.
- Update clients and sales information in Salesforce and SAP.
- Work closely with the existing sales personnel and the GM to coordinate and manage your wider region.
- Assist the Engineering division with field test and trials and with comment and suggestions.
- Project manage tour orders in conjunction with the Production Manager.
- Ensure after-sales follow-up.
- Complete and close projects along with monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Perform any additional duties as required to support the sales function.

**The knowledge and skills you must have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or commercial sales.
- 3 years of experience in similar position.
- Relevant experience in commercial representation of industrial product.
- Have businees acumen
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a sense of planning, organization and control.
- Demonstrate rigor and attention to details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Étudiez continuellement le marché et ciblez les 10 meilleurs clients de votre région.
- Identifier les opportunités de vente croisée dans l'offre globale de solutions (pièces neuves, réparations et service sur le terrain)
- Élaborer un plan d'affaires pour sécuriser leur entreprise et exécuter le plan.
- Générez de nouveaux prospects et convertissez-les en commandes rentables.
- Développez l'activité dans votre région conformément aux objectifs fixés par le budget de l'entreprise.
- Fournir un budget de vente individuel sur:

- Renseignements et visites
- Enchères/Offres
- Réservations/confirmations
- Marges sur les produits
- Identifier et développer de nouvelles routes vers le marché et les lacunes dans les offres de produits. Visitez de nouveaux clients potentiels et générez des demandes de renseignements.
- Établir de bonnes relations à tous les niveaux au sein des entreprises clientes pour s'assurer que DBS reçoive toutes les invitations à soumissionner là où nous avons une offre de produits.
- Gérer les opportunités client depuis le contact initial jusqu'à la gestion des offres (y compris la création de la proposition) et enfin la négociation menant à l'attribution du contrat.
