Our team works closely with creative engineers, PMs, industry professionals, etc., to help design and develop products and solutions that make our customers' lives easier.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of product and UX designers, creating clear paths for their future success and impact by providing feedback, guidance, and mentorship to the team
- Champion and cultivate a culture of user-centered design through every touchpoint in the customer journey
- Create and drive product design strategy and implementation by collaborating with key partners to deliver compelling experiences that deliver on company goals, and mission
- Help scale the foundational Product Design team by hiring and mentoring a team of designers
- Establish best practices and develop repeatable, scalable mechanisms enabling the team to do their best work
- Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
- Lead user interviews to better understand customer needs to help inform the product design strategy
- Since you will oversee multiple brands, craft distinctive and relevant product design principles via our Design System, guidelines, and creative assets across multiple platforms
- Proactively assess UX risks, raise flags and resolve issues
- Ensure that we design & build inclusive and accessible experiences
- Ensure that experiences achieve product-market fit, and are valuable and usable for customers

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in a Product Design, UX, UI, or related role, with 2+ years in a management/mentorship role
- 2+ years of Design system experience
- Experience with usability principles and best practices in interaction and visual design, research methodologies, prototyping and rapid experimentation to collect the product and user behavioral insights
- A deep understanding of how to maximize the design process within an agile environment
- Demonstrated experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, and prototyping for product experiences
- Excellent UI / UX design skills across a variety of user-facing platforms

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience leading and growing design systems
- Expert level knowledge of Figma
- Knowledge of automotive operations or experience working in the automotive industry is a plus
- Robust hands-on experience across a variety of UX research methods
