Primary Responsibilities:

- Work on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and outcomes
- Auditing of reports
- Receive general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
- Cover a range of duties: including information management, data entry, documentation control and reporting
- Provide administrative and clerical support specifically related to the purchasing department such as issuance of POs, maintenance of files, logs and other related documentation
- Perform activities in Salesforce, and other information systems to support purchasing (entering manual purchase orders or change orders, run purchasing reports)
- Creating customer cards and accounts in Microsoft Business Central
- Updating online databases with employee information (Payworks HRIS, Geotab, Learnupon, etc)
- Schedule new and recurrent safety training courses with third party vendors
- Update and maintain our Safety Training documents
- Verify and audit employee timesheets
- Assist with recruitment tasks (scheduling pre-screens, interviews, reference checks)
- Administer company shipping account and required shipments
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

- Building/maintaining successful and productive internal/external working relationships
- Work experience as an office administrator or Accounting Clerk considered an asset
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Able to work well under pressure with mínimal supervision to meet set deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high standards with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.

Other requirements upon conditional offer of employment:

- Clear criminal record check.
- Proof of double vaccination against COVID-19.
