We are currently hiring one **Payroll Specialist**. Your main duty and responsibility is maintaining the accounts of our various clients in order to ensure that our senior staff can properly implement accounting principles.

As a **Payroll Specialist **your duties will include:

- Preparing remittances for payroll source deductions
- Preparing T4 slip remittances and monitoring the distribution of slips;
- Administering and preparing Payroll for clients in a timely fashion;
- Providing clerical and administrative support to management as needed;
- Answer client inquiries in a timely and supportive fashion;
- Monthly reconciliations of client bank accounts;
- Preparing Audit documentation if and when required;
- Calculating, preparing, and issuing bills, invoices, and statements of accounts;
- Preparing, monitoring, and maintaining computerized accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Preparing remittances for HST remittances, WSIB, EHT and Corporate taxes;
We are looking for someone who is:

- Detail oriented;
- Great at time management and can work within deadlines;
- Able to stay organized;
- Works well within a team;
- Has great client communication skills;
- Maintains client confidentiality;
- Experience in Quickbooks, Sage, and Profile or equivalent;
- Having tax preparation knowledge;
- Previous work as a bookkeeper, tax preparer, HR assistant or equivalent;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
