Our undergraduate and postgraduate education programs enrich the student experience to provide the knowledge and skills needed to ensure exemplary care across multidisciplinary paediatric sub-specialties. Exceptional specialized clinical care is provided to children in South Western Ontario from faculty committed to child health. **Responsibilities**: The Program Coordinator will provide administrative expertise for all aspects of postgraduate residency education in Paediatrics. The role will be responsible for a wide range of advanced and diversified program coordination and support functions within the department, and play a key role in the coordination of the Paediatric residency training program. The role will also ensure alignment with Western University’s mandate and with the requirements of Accrediting Colleges and Professional Associations. The Program Coordinator will function under the leadership of the Department of Paediatrics Postgraduate Program Director and Associate Program Director, and with guidance/supervision from the Program Administrator. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of the postgraduate Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) activities in Paediatrics, will assist with monitoring curriculum delivery and resident research activities, as well as coaching activities. In addition, the Program Coordinator will provide additional focus on recruitment and program promotion activities. **Qualifications**: - Education: - 3 year Community College Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration or other related field - Experience: - 5 years experience providing financial and administrative support and customer service - Experience working in an academic environment would be preferred - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience - Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to maintain an effective personal work environment - Competency to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion - Ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds - Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation - Ability to work and interact professionally with a diverse multi-disciplinary team, i.e., residents, staff, faculty, and other members of the University and Hospital community - Intermediate proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) - Knowledge of the mandate of Professional Association of Residents of Ontario (PARO) contract, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), and Schulich Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) office preferred - Knowledge of Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada accreditation preferred **Union Statement**: **Western Values Diversity**: **Please Note**: We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those chosen for an interview will be contacted.
