Reception/ Office Administrator

This role provides a positive first impression at our SSP Administrative offices (usually in the airport) for our guests; as well as telephone inquiries. This role will also provide administrative support to support teams within the administrative offices; such as Accounting, Human Resources and Operations supervisors and managers. This position usually reports to Human Resources Manager or GM.
- Greet and assist employees and guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Answer phones in a professional manner at all times, transfer calls to appropriate employee, take messages as required.
- Maintain a pleasant, tidy appearance of the reception area, conference rooms, copy room, and kitchen.
- Coordinate interviews with Human Resources and Hiring Managers as needed.
- Assist Human Resources Manager with HR-related duties.
- Maintain office directories and lists, and distribute as appropriate.
- Ensure office functions run smoothly.
- Prepare Word and Excel documents; create templates, type up meeting notes, reformat documents.
- Provide printing, binding, collating, and shipping support as needed on special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completion of high school diploma or GED is required
- Experience in an administrative support role is an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is required
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail are vital for success in this role
