Roberts-McClure is a full service, truly independent insurance brokerage, based in Edmonton, Alberta, focusing on Home & Auto Insurance, as well as, Commercial Insurance, for our Alberta based clients. **Technical skills**
- Knowledge of coverages, limits, and complimentary commercial lines offerings.
- An understanding of the construction industry will be considered an asset.
- Experience with broker management systems, preferably Power Broker (BMS).
- Proficiency with customer relationship management systems (CRM).
- Experience with insurer and vendor portals is also an asset.
- Ability to identify gaps in coverages.
- Financial and accounting literacy.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel.

**Key Responsibilities/ Essential Functions**
- Management of policy lifecycles for new and existing clients, including new business submissions, renewals, and re-marketing.
- Assisting team members in the completion of comprehensive submissions for quoting.
- Administering internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and underwriting guidelines.
- Identifying opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell complementary insurance products.
- Timely processing of policies and certificate of insurance (COI) requests.
- Take actions that respect the needs and contributions of others.

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Alberta level 2 license, in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience
- Minimum 2 years of personal lines insurance experience
- CAIB and industry-related designations are considered a strong asset

**Remuneration**
- Salaried position, dependent on experience.
- Negotiable commission structure for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

Schedule:

- Monday - Friday: 8:30am to 4:30pm (closed: Noon - 1:00pm)
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
