- As a Strategic Business Analyst, you will perform a variety of functions including strategic planning, policy development and business planning by engaging both internal and external stakeholders, along with advising the Board and Calgary Housing Company (CHC) Management on policy related matters. Primary duties include:

Research and analyze emerging housing needs for potential new housing programs.
Develop and implement Calgary Housing Company strategic plan and priorities.
Prepare, write and implement policy direction for key program areas, aimed at achieving the goals and objectives of CHC.
Coordinate public consultation and stakeholder dialogues on a range of affordable housing initiatives and issues.
Represent CHC and affordable housing issues on various internal and external committees.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other non-profit social housing agencies and other levels of government, to improve service for housing delivery.
Lead and/or support operational process improvement projects.
Promote CHC to various stakeholder groups by creating awareness of CHC programs and services.
Prepare and deliver reports to the CHC Board and sub-committees.
- **Qualifications**
***A degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Public Administration or a related field combined with at least 5 years of experience in business, strategic planning and operational effectiveness.
Experience with people management, project management, process management, and change management is required.
Previous experience in a municipal government, management consulting, policy analysis and/or social housing setting is considered an asset.
You can work independently, build and maintain professional relationships, be proactive and have a high degree of initiative.
Strong research, strategic planning, analytical, problem solving, process improvement and decision making skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills as well as the ability to collaborate with groups and individuals with divergent points of view to build consensus, credibility and trust.

- Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
