Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our team. This role involves leveraging data analysis, business intelligence tools, and project management skills to support operational decision-making and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database management, and visualization tools, with the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment and manage multiple projects effectively.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Business Intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Analyze complex datasets utilizing SQL, R, Python, and Oracle databases to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement solutions following SDLC best practices.
  • Design and optimize database structures, including database design and management within Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
  • Support project management activities by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards within an Agile framework.
  • Automate data processing tasks using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify process bottlenecks and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.
  • Create detailed process diagrams and documentation using Visio to facilitate understanding of workflows and system integrations.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL (including Microsoft SQL Server), and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices.
  • Strong knowledge of database design principles, business analysis techniques, and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) for automation purposes.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into clear insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Prior experience working in a collaborative environment utilizing Visio for process mapping is preferred. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute significantly to operational efficiency through advanced analytics and innovative solutions.
