Position Summary:
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting.

Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

Position Responsibilities:

- Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure they have a diverse set of qualified individuals while ensure DEI principles and best practices are used at every step of the recruting cycle
- Determine selection criteria and other vital information needed to recruit effectively
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Lead employer branding initiatives
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
- Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
- Keep up with industry trends to ensure we are always incorporating best practices in everything we do
- Contribute to goals setting on an annual basis and bring opportunities to evolve the TA COE forward for consideration
- Establish partnerships with the HRBPs and collaborate on servicing a business unit

Qualifications:

- 3 years of proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Knowledge of employment legislations in Ontario.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and resume databases.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Demonstrated success with full cycle recruiting.
- Organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
- Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
