We are looking for an organized and enthusiastic Administrator to join our team You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks and activities within the dept.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with different departments for the coordination of purchases and sales
- Schedule and manage freight expense and transport of trucks to ensure timely deliveries and manage ongoing cases
- Administrative work to support the need of the department including invoicing, ticket management and purchase verification
- Manage and record inventory stock
- Manage BOL and any other documents required for shipments
- Manage transport invoices, deliveries and relevant paperwork from the drivers to ensure accuracy of shipment
- Advise of any discrepancies
- Ensure correct material is being loaded onto the trucks
What will make you a valued member of our team?
- High School Graduate
- Post-secondary education in an administration or business program is an asset
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience
- Customer service oriented, possess tact and judgement in dealing with difficult and demanding customers
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be able to respond to tight deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last-minute demands and requirements
- Organized, detailed oriented, ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Possess problem analyses and solving skills including basic arithmetic computations
