Sales Manager
- ROLE_
The main role of the Sales Manager will be to manage all wholesale accounts for the company. They will be the main liaison with all key accounts, and help grow these accounts in both volume and number. The focus of Gladstone Brewing Company is quality over quantity. We expect to attract the highest quality accounts and provide them with the highest quality products.
The Sales Manager will work closely with the Ownership Team, Brewing Team, and Packaging Team to help develop the strategies to maximize profitable sales. Forecasting future wholesale growth for all products and formats will be a major part of this job. The forecasting will become the foundation of the brewing and packaging schedule.
Marketing all Gladstone products to current and potential accounts will encompass the spirit of this position. Working closely with the Marketing Department, the Sales Manager will develop strategies for attracting new high quality accounts, and also help plan and execute events both at the Brewery and at other locations.
This individual must have a comprehensive understanding of sales strategies, marketing, brewery manufacturing operations, and exceptional leadership skills.
This individual must have a degree or diploma in a field related to Sales, Marketing, or equivalent, and 5+ years of experience in the Craft Brewing industry or similar field.

- The Sales Manager will report directly to ownership, where the ownership’s primary responsibilities will be company vision and long term goals.
- **Team Work**_
- Collaborate with the Head Brewer, Senior Brewers, Lounge Managers, Kitchen Managers, Sales Reps, Warehouse Managers, etc. to create an efficient, fun, and productive work environment.
- **Comox Valley and Surrounding Area Territory Manager**_
- Gladstone Brewing Company is a local family business. The Comox Valley is the home of the Brewery and our dedicated staff. So when it comes to business, the Comox Valley comes first This does not mean we treat accounts outside the Comox Valley any differently from a quality of service and product point of view. All Gladstone customers get treated with the same high level of service and quality. What it does mean is that we promote the Comox Valley and surrounding area as a destination for all accounts outside our local territory. We want people all across Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the rest of Canada, and the rest of the World to visit our Valley for everything it has to offer, including the beer we serve right from the taps at the Brewery itself.
- As the local Territory Manager, the Sales Manager will put an extra focus on our Key Local Accounts to insure they are representing our products to their full potential. Making sure they have all the resources they need to represent our product to our standards and are able to sell our products as the Best the Valley has to offer.
- Managing any customer service issues is a major aspect of this job.
- **Sales Manager for all Areas**_
Monitoring sales for all Sales Reps to insure they are meeting company KPIs will be a major part of this position in the future.
- **Delivery Driving**_
- The Sales Manager will manage the Delivery Team, creating DOC60’s for all deliveries, and helping organize and load the delivery vehicles.
- The Sales Manager will also be a member of the Delivery Team, doing weekly deliveries as needed.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
