Reporting to the Quality Manager the Document Control Specialist promotes and oversees compliance of Blackstone Industrial Services document control procedures throughout the Blackstone organization. _This critical role in the management of document flow and control within the organization._ Assuring accessibility and security of Blackstone intellectual property._

**Responsibilities**

Document Control Processes and Procedures
- Develop and maintain the, standardization, and operational execution of document control processes and procedures
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on document control processes and procedures

Maintaining Digital Document Management System
- Ensuring that all project documentation submitted to the company document control system by project team members is correctly coded and filed in a timely manner
- Ensuring quality of information contained in the company document control system
- Documents are correctly and completed coded with the appropriate meta data,
- Documents presented in repair files are the most current version
- Prevention of document duplication
- Identify and report deficiencies and/or problems with the company document management system
- Securely store and manage OEM information.

Document Controls Support
- Assisting team members with locating documents, answering document control related questions, and resolving service issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage formal communications transmittals with external stakeholders
- Support the development and standardization of document control processes and procedures
- Provide front-line system user support and training
- Identifying and communicating document management improvement strategies
- Work with HSSE management supporting the corporate HSSE commitment and management systems.
- HSE compliance site management
- Develop internal training material and provided training to staff

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years document control supporting construction projects
- Experience with maintaining a digital document management system
- College or University Diploma /Degree preferably in Administration, Information Management, or Records Management is preferred
- Specific experience with Engineering and Construction document management is an asset

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Attention to detail, ability to focus and concentrate for long durations is critical
- Excellent communication skills; written and spoken English
- Excellent interpersonal and team participation skills.
- Solutions oriented, independent problem solver
- Ability to work with, and be committed to, the goals and objective of the team and organization as a whole
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Demonstrate sound work ethic, ability to multitask, and meet tight deadlines without losings site of priorities
