Allied Universal is seeking **Secuirty Professional **in Waterloo, Ontario**.**

**Job Title**: Secuirty Professional

**Location**: Waterloo, ON

**Type**: Casual/ Floater

**Pay Rate**: $20.70 per hour

**Shifts**: Various Shift

**Requirements: 5-year Residency in Canada to obtain clearance**

**G License, Clean Driver's abstract and above 25 years of age for insurance purposes**

**Overview**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Monitor Security Systems**: Continuously oversee alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect and assess potential security threats.
- ** Incident Reporting**: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
- ** Threat Assessment**: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
- ** Monitor and Control Access**: Ensure only authorized individuals are allowed access to the building. Verify identification and sign-in of visitors, contractors, and employees.
- ** Issue Access Badges/Passes**: Provide temporary access badges or passes to visitors, contractors, and temporary staff as required. Assign badges to new employees as needed.
- ** Regular Inspections**: Conduct routine checks of security systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and are up to date.
- ** Emergency Response**: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- ** Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
- ** Patrol Parking Lots**: Regularly monitor and patrol corporate parking lots, garages, or designated parking areas to ensure that all vehicles comply with the established parking rules and regulations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.
- Must have a valid** Ontario Security License.**:

- Must be at least 25 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
- ** Must be able to obtain site specific security clearance**:

- Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- First Aid and CPR
