**Overview**

**Duties**
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe activities and identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to detect any irregularities or hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.

**Requirements**:

- **Must have a reliable vehicle**:

- **Must be willing to drive to Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph and Stratford for assignments.**:

- Proven experience in surveillance or as a Security Guard is preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technologies is advantageous.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and visitors effectively.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
- A valid security license will be required based on local regulations.
