**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting in a small option home or an Independent living Support setting
- Support life skills and personal care as required
- Assist and support with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage individuals in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist, support, and/or administer medication as prescribed and monitor individuals for any changes in health or behavior.
- Support individuals with daily living activities in various settings, such as in their homes or the community.
- Understanding and supporting the choices people have in their lives
- Assist and support individuals with household management
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in the individual's condition to the supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education or experience in a Human Services field
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support and care.
- The understanding of person-centered and person-directed planning
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong organization and record keeping skills
- Positive ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Essential core values and skills that drive us forward
- Completed Provincial core competencies training would be an asset

Pay: $23.68-$25.70 per hour
