The Magnolia - Enfield, NS

The Magnolia is located at 416 Highway #2 in Enfield. The home accommodates 71 people in total, 59 who need Level II nursing care and 12 who require the support of residential care. There are five cottages within the home with 12 to 15 individuals, each in a single room with a private washroom. Each cottage has its own living room, dining room, bathing suites and access to enclosed garden spaces.

In the role of Community Assistant, you will be responsible for cooking and serving food to residents of your assigned cottage. This includes breakfast, lunch, supper, and snack. Apart from cooking you will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and dining area and helping your team members with cleaning of the residents' bedrooms.

If you are assigned for the building, you would be responsible for cleaning the floors throughout the building and taking garbage, recyclables and compost outside. You could also be assigned laundry task that is washing and drying and putting away on the cottages.

**Qualifications**

Grade 12 or equivalent

Food prep skills required

Experience ordering food/supplies asset

Experience in inventory management asset

Food Handlers Course an asset

Experience in long
- term care setting an asset

WHIMS training an asset - can train

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.38-$18.68 per hour
