**WAGES**:
Department of Education wage scale is dependent on the level of Early Childhood Education obtained and years of experience. $ 19.67-$ 27.63

**REQUIERMENTS**:

- ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 classifications
- Clear Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C.
- **Transportation: The Upper Tantallon & East Hants locations are NOT on a transit route.**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Understands early childhood development and able to provide an enriching program to enhance young children’s learning.
- Plan and facilitate a child lead, play-based curriculum; drawing from the Nova Scotia Childcare Curriculum Framework.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with center administration, co-workers, families and other participating members and partners.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

PLEASE NOTE: Friends for Life is not registered with any residency programs, such as AIP or NSNP, at this time

Friends for Life currently has 7 locations serving Halifax, Dartmouth, Beaverbank, Tantallon, Hatchet Lake, East Hants, and Truro.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.67-$27.63 per hour
