**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Support the Regional QA Manager with the implementation and maintenance of Trouw Nutrition’s quality assurance and HACCP programs.
- Maintain existing HACCP program and FSSC through comprehensive document management processes and related checks as the role of HACCP Coordinator.
- Implement and maintain Nutrace-related programs and activities as prescribed by the Regional Quality Assurance Manager and/or the North American Business Unit Quality Assurance Manager.
- Participate in regional incident and complaint management processes - including leading identification, and implementation of corrective actions and preventative actions tactics.
- Conduct monthly premise inspections and track resulting non-conformances.
- Oversee the calibration and validation of production equipment defined in the HACCP program.
- This responsibility includes documenting regional procedures in line with the programs and executing the training requirement and audits with the operations team.
- Investigate process and manufacturing errors to complete CAPA reports.
- Assist in Internal and External audits.
- Communicate with all departments to investigate and problem solves issues to assist with the Continuous Improvement standard.
- Review results from Ingredient and Finished products testing.
- Assist with sampling and testing of incoming ingredients and finished products.
- Complete risk assessments to analyze and evaluate risks associated with a hazard.

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**:

- Post-secondary education in an area of related study.
- 3+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry; feed industry; food industry; or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Familiarity with the tools, concepts, and methodologies of quality management.
- Current HACCP program certificate training preferred.
- Current FSSC ISO 22000 program certificate training preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and be results-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, Organized, Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Computer proficiency with entire MS Office suite - proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Creative problem-solving ability, and forward-thinking abilities.
- Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs, climb ladders, and lift 55 lbs.
